New to the bitcoin thing

So I’ve read everything I think I could find on here and I’m still confused af lol I downloaded mycelium and have no idea how to add funds. Also downloaded blockchain on my phone, and figured how to add funds. So I was wondering if blockchain is acceptable? Also is it bitcoin or bitcoin cash?

Bitcoin cash is different I believe. I personally use a bitcoin ATM. Google it and they will show you what’s in your area. Some places have better rates then others so pay attention. I prefer these because I can pay in cash and transfer to mycelium.

Coinstar also does Bitcoin now. But they have high fees and make you use theyre wallet (which you need ID to get). I would not recommend

So if you use a bitcoin ATM it will ask if your wallet is on your phone and ask for a phone number. This is so they can send you a pin #. Once you have a pin you be ask to enter it and then you scan your wallet. No you can put cash into the machine. When done hit finish on touch screen and then it text you a receipt. Takes usually less then an hour to have funds show up in wallet. If you need a visual you can also youtube it.

Check first online to see what the fees are. Some are not bad and others are crazy. You’ll be surprised how many are probably near you
