Pharmaceutical companies make me sick

Well the time has finally arrived that the cost of the copay on my Test from the pharmacy is more than the cost of ordering and delivery of the test I can get online. I have a platinum level prescription plan. I believe it’s like an 18% copay. The cost of my test has been steadily increasing in cost for a while now and the copay is now 43 bucks. Absolutely ridiculous. I feel for people that need it and have no prescription plan. At what point will Americans wake up and tell big pharmaceutical companies that enough is enough. Just venting a bit so I dont call and cuss out my insurance. I know that 43 bucks isn’t terrible but the fact that it’s a small percentage is what’s stupid. It’s absolutely no wonder that people turn to "illegal " means of providing for themselves.

The discount gets bigger with larger orders. You might be able to work out a deal with your healthcare provider to give you a longer supply.

Goodrx is amazing! I’ve been using them for awhile now. Check your local grocery stores, mine usually carry some kind of coupon from goodrx

I went to my doctors office he provides testosterone injections in office.
A 1ml 200mg/ml injection of cypionate costs 40$ thats 400$ a vial.
CRAZY
He also provides cialis for 20$ a tablet and viagra 100mg for 40$ a tablet.
An injection of hcg 5000iu costs 80$
I read the amounts and it blows me away and honestly they wonder why people go and use ugl labs and order medication from overseas risking their freedom.
For my medication I take 3 medications.
Between the doctors appt and the cost of the 3 medications it comes out to 230$ a month no insurance I do use discount prescription cards.
If I were to just order my medication from overseas. The same exact medication and I mean the same company and everything. Only one of my medications isn’t available overseas but I can get its equivalent.
It would cost me 135$ for 6 months for all my medication including shipping.
In the states 6 months costs me $1380.
I think that this needs to be a topic that is seriously looked at because 2 of my medications are made by the exact same company and everything bu they are basically 10x the cost here compared to overseas.

My test comes in 1000mg @ 5ml and its $60 up front not including dr copay and my other prescription. The only reason I pay and keep my trt going is for the unlimited bloodwork my insurance covers . My son is a diabetic. I buy ALL of his supplies from overseas pharmacies

This is the same post I see on UGM on a monthly basis. Complaining about it does absolutely nothing to fix the problem. I feel you bro and I understand the frustration but take your own action and don’t waste your time complaining about something… chasing the wind.

Im in for calling your representatives in Washington or write them and let them know over and over that overseas medication that is the same thing we should have full access to and that you want them to fight for it.
