I definitely hope that my loved ones or I am never in the position to have the want for it but I think the less control the government has over people the better. I think the only role government should serve is to enforce laws against harming another person and protecting their property. I do support certain regulations, taxes and social programs. I think hate crimes are and affirmative action are utter nonsense.

The main problem is fake news! Someone will read something on the internet because “everything you find on the internet is true” and believe it and start spreading it with out researching. I mean now days ppl are lazy and don’t want to find out anything for themselves.
Just like these stupid face mask! I’m sorry but if I fart and you can smell it. Well hate to tell you viruses and bacteria will also make it. Wearing your mask with no gloves all day putting on and taking off your same mask which is infested by now with who knows what serves what purpose? If your mask protects you why are you pissed because I’m not wearing one your protected from my shit breath. My line of work if it doesn’t seal around your face then your wasting your money and time. Actual military service, unlike Trump’s “Bone Spurs” to get out of serving in Vietnam.

Yet why does everyone NOW go after Trump on it but ignored Obama and Biden for years? Obama gutted the military budget, Trump at least built it back up.

I go after Trump because he’s the one in office right now. Like I said, Biden is a tool as well. There’s another problem, we continue to excuse the actions because their from money, send the poor to fight their wars.

If I recall in the last 40 years we’ve only had 2 presidents with military service?

Obama didn’t gut the military, even during his presidency we spent more then the next 3 countries combined.

I guess what I’m curious about is why people blindly follow these guys instead of expecting more from them.

We’ve had no Democrat presidents with military service in last 39 years. Weve had 3 republicans with military service in that time tho.

Which branch did you serve in? And Obama did reduce the military in his time.

I never claimed I served, nor am I running for president, so I don’t see how that matters.

I think I have been pretty clear on my thoughts that I don’t like either side. It’s not an attack on Trump only as I have previously said Clinton should be in prison. Biden is worthless as well, so is Obama, he was a constitutional lawyer who continued to gut the constitution.

Like I said, I don’t see where asking me what branch I served in had a point? If it matters my dad fought in Vietnam and hates Trump. But my dad was poor so couldn’t use the bone spurs argument.

And I don’t feel we should have been in Iraq in the first place. Throughout history people have invaded in the hopes of overhtrowin a regime, it never ends well, those struggles need to start from within, just think if France invaded the U.S. to help us rid England from our shores, I don’t think we would have welcomed them as savior’s, colonists started the rebellion and then asked for Frances naval help.

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan weren’t started to get rid of the Islamic State, the American people were told Sadam had weapons of mass destruction, which proved to be false, and we invaded Afghanistan over Al-Qaeda. So the piece you are quoting isn’t entirely factual.

Sadam hated any threat to his rule, our invasion opened the door for Iran to plant terrorist cells and fund them in Iraq.

Just because I didn’t serve, doesn’t mean I’m not a fan of history, and perhaps if more people studied history, we wouldn’t keep making the same mistakes.
