Pop up ads and annoying

@TG I believe it was the chrome version when I downloaded it… here’s a screenshot of it and this pop up is just staying at the bottom

I kno it’s been different adds at the bottom throughout the day today and then random different pop up adds that cover the UGM screen that I have to keep closing out. Like @brent1111 stated it’s been rather annoying and this is the first it’s happened in nearly a year that I’ve been a part of the community.

If you have a generic cell carrier that can be a cause as well like Boost or MetroPCS. There cheap for a reason kind of like a free app.

MetroPCS has developed the MetroPCS Interest-based Advertising program to do this without identifying you personally to third-party advertisers. With this program you are more likely to learn about products or offers that interest you. The program doesn’t change the number of ads you see, only which ads you see.

I have never seen any. I have Verizon. As soon as nighttrain posted that screenshot it crippled the site. I think his screenshot had an embedded virus that he wasn’t aware of but I could be wrong but it was at the exact time.

I have AT&T and I am still seeing the pop ups. Just random pop-ups that I’m not interested in. I’ll log out and log back in and see if that works.

A couple of things, I live outside of the city. Before I purchased my new home and moved out to the country I had Sprint as my cell provider and once I moved I couldn’t get cell service using Sprint. So therefore I was forced to switch to Metro PCS because it’s tower for some reason is the only way I can get cell service at home.

Secondly these pop ups that are showing up on my phone I have no interest in whatsoever.

@TG by the way brother they are still continuing this morning.

Also, again…this isn’t happening on any other app or at any other time while using my phone. ONLY on UGM.
