So the county fair featured an men’s and women’s arm wresting contest pro, amateur, and open. Women’s was only open. Oh plus kids. Wife has been working at a foundry last six months. She has very strong arms to begin with so now she is feeling very strong. She reminded me several times to register her she was very excited about this. Her technique sucks although we worked on it. Once on stage she forgets everything and just uses her arm like it’s a bar room arm wrestling.
Lost first match her arm just went limp with stage fright. Second match she won. Thirs match lost to best girl there. Fourth and fifth match she was disqualified as she was almost had her opponents beat her elbow left the pad.
The girls loved her and invited her to their team but it’s hour and half away so she declined. But I remembered an old acquaintance that I use to train with was second in worlds for arm wrestling. I called him up and he invited her to his group and gonna start training her. She so happy.
