Semaglutide Curbs Alcohol Cravings

I know how it effects my appetite but suppressing the alcohol cravings escapes me.

Is it “mechanical” like where as the volume of a beer fills you up and you just can’t ingest any more?

Is it actually turning you off to the actual “beer buzz”?

As a beer drinker mostly I wonder this as well. Like would a true alcoholic just switch to liquor instead if it’s the volume part

Yes, I believe so.

After I eat dinner, I feel (a bit over) satiated and feel I just don’t have room for any more volume.

I do think it makes me sleepy a day or two after injections as well, but still tracking that.

Week 3: .50mg Semaglutide

Weight - 2 less (211 -->206)
appetite - 50% less
Drinking - 40% less
Blood glucose am avg - same (99–>94)
BP avg - (132/85 → 122/78)

Note 1 - The lower BG effect as well as the lower BP effects are excellent side effects.

Note 2 - A few noticeable instances of acid reflux requiring Tums.

Opinion - As you get use to the feeling of fullness you truly think about food differently. I would eat for pleasure once a day usually at night without much constraint. Now its just doesn’t seem as important. I eat half a meal and have to come back to it later to finish. It kills the impulse for gluttony.

Discussion - ?

Week 4: .525mg Semaglutide

Weight - 2 less (211 -->206)
appetite - 50% less
Drinking - 40% less
Blood glucose am avg - same (99–>94)
BP avg - (132/85 → 128/80)

Note 1 - Lots of acid reflux this past week resulting in a bit less food eaten, and some tiredness too.

Opinion - I haven’t changed the dosage and food intake and drinking are half-ish what they would be normally.

Discussion - I don’t want to incur more side effects with an increased dose until the acid reflux subsides and energy levels return. Could be a result of work stress tho.

I’m selling my semi glutide this weekend to friend. No profit made but I’m never goig to use it and he wasn’t to really try and lean down as he’s a bb
