BCP157, and TB-500. If you don’t already know what they are Google them, and you will see as long as a muscle is not torn it will heal just about anything…

I’ve been dealing with something similar it’s all my joints though, when I lift a lot or do a lot of shoulder exercise the days following I’m almost in tears the pain is so bad cant sleep or even lift my arms up. It feels like my shoulders were yanked out of socket. It’s excruciating pain.

I think mine is either rheumatory arthritis or another autoimmune related issue. Im 33 and I can’t believe it Im experiencing pain that someone in their 60s and 70s would expect to feel. It sucks brother let us know what you find out.

Yeah good point jb,I believe all the pain I’m experiencing is inflammation of the tendons but it seems like it’s coming from the joint.

You could look into anti inflammatory diet changes. I cleared up some issues with it and my wife dramatically improved. She can’t go near cows milk or a cascade of stuff starts. There’s a lot of hippy dippy pseudoscience stuff out there relating to it, but removing possible allergens like dairy, wheat and legumes, one at a time, and assessing changes is the best way. Skin prick test is oddly not that accurate.

Autoimmune disease is becoming more prevalent, and a large chunk of cases are from constant, low grade immune response from food allergens. Eventually, the immune system goes haywire. People just live with it, unaware they’re supposed to not feel like crap every day and unaware of what is actually causing it.

I had this last year in my right shoulder. Really hurt doing bench press. Dumbbells werent so bad. I never got a diagnosis from a doctor or did an mri. I did some physiotherapy and some massage. Didnt really help much. Then covid came along and closed the gyms for 5 months. When the gym reopened and i tried benching again, i had no pain at all. Its been about 8 months now and my shoulder is still all good. In fact Im approaching strength levels comparable to when Im on cycle. It’s hard to hear but the best option might to jus stop benching. Luckily for me I was forced to.

Definitely get an MRI to take the guess work out. Try and perform an “empty can” exercise with a dB. You tube it and let
Me know how it feels. That is a test of the supraspinatus rotator cuff muscle. Commonly causes the pain you are describing while pressing. Do push-ups bother it? What about pull-ups?

if its a joint issue, i started taking collagen in my shakes. really seems to help lubricate my joints all around. but this sounds like it may need medical attention

Pushups do not aggravate it very much. I can dumb bell bench somewhat functionally, although i’m much stronger than this allows me to press. I can shoulder press more than i can bench because of pain. The barbell bench and basically any press with a barbell causes it, starting first in my right, then a couple reps more to the left. It’s like an ice pick point of pain at the bottom of my delt, deep along my humerus. The biceps tendonitis from a previous post sounds very plausible. I don’t barbell bench at all btw, but i would love to do it again someday.

Get yourself one of those bell sleeves and if its just your form it will take the pain out of it by holding your elbows in and giving you support
