Hey everyone. We have been working on a new way make it easier to view sponsors and who does what where.

Additionally we know some of you dont like the banners at top. So let us know what you think. This is for the Desktop design only.

• Leave Directory on bottom
• Change Banners to bottom and Directory to top
• I hate the directory

Id like to see domestic only in one category and all others in another to save time searching through all sites or if it already exists explain exactly how.

Havent really thought about that however some sponsors get a separate category for more exposure on the home page. @Bigmurph @SemperFi @PHD thoughts on this?

It would make a better experience for members if sources were identified somehow as domestic, international or both.

But then we have the case like where PSL is both international and domestic. We cant assign them to both categories.

Also a rating in service like reliability on time or how many times not received etc

I believe we are avoiding the rating system concept for specific reasons @BIGLUZE

The only problem with ratings is that can be fixed and having people vote positive even if they have issues. Iron Junkies Labs shit went on so long because he was trying to get people to only leave positive reviews. If we allowed voting he would have been able to manipulate it, and frankly in terms of gear quality he was the worst we ever had here.

Yes the manipulation factor can and will come into play i see your point on that. There’s always someone trying to use a loop hole to get better reviews

I think the case like PSL wouldn’t be a problem because they are in two categories and some would have to be categorized that way but when it comes down to it it’s the users choice on whether or not to order international or domestic at least they would know theres a choice

Theres no way to assign them in separate categories. They actually have a larger category so I can add intl and dom in the title. But in other cases they would have to pick which one.

What you just created, the categories would have saved me hours looking for specific sites I think its a good start.

The flashing banners seem to make the site seem like a marketing site rather than a source review site. Non animated banners would be better imo

Allow the advertising needed to make revenue, but keep it as a secondary mission for site.
Make member forums and reviews the primary focus.
I also dont care much for the new "must click " pop up either.

Reminds me of some of the other source boards that are purely marketing driven.
