Great game…Purdy has a decent future if he is surrounded by solid players.

I’m not a Mahomes or Kelce fan…but…they are great players and deserve some respect.

Black National Anthem…no thanks…simply breeds division…my two cents.

I’m not really watching sports anymore. Too woke for me. NFL is actively lobbying the government for more gun control now. Along with NBA, NHL, nah I would rather not contribute to the companies trying to take away gun rights but that’s just my personal views.
 
This contradiction of values has become fascinating to me in the recent years. Far too many people crying about the values the organizations clearly support and stand
For while slapping down their hard earned money to watch them.

The DOD paid the NFL $10 million for paid patriotism which includes getting people to stand for the national anthem. What’s worse breeding division or paid manipulation? Either way the NFL is trash.

I agree…blind leading the blind. I haven’t watched pro sports in years and wanted to give it another shot…hoping things would be better. I just want to watch a game without anything being shoved down my throat. I guess those days are over.
 
It’s all over bro. They used to pay directly and then got investigated by congress and started paying indirectly. Money going direct to teams, stadium costs, etc. Nothing from NFL is for free and different amounts paid every year.

Something to also note after the NFL and DOD got investigated by congress the NFL made sizeable donations from owners to the politicians immediately after.

I unfortunately think you are right. Sport for the sake of sport is simply gone. I mean NFL just wrote a letter to congress in support of gun control and tighter regulations. It’s all a cesspool.
 
I pick up a ncaa track and field event or strongman every so often…. That’s absolutely it.
 
I tend to really only care about the teams I root for anymore. TOSU and the bengals. But my level of caring about them
Isn’t what it once was either.
 
I actually love watching track and field too. It’s hardly any BS. are you better than the other people who trained for this moment. That’s why I loved track. When I beat someone… it’s was flat out because I’m better than them.
 
Well i still enjoy games,the competition,the big plays,which doesnt mean i support or agree with what they do,and they dont give a shit about what you guys think,say or do,so to sum this conversation up,we can give all our opinions and views on this,and guess what it wont change shit.

I did not watch the game so I did not hear about the black national anthem. Last I checked you did not have to be a certain color to be an AMERICAN. so with this BLACK national anthem they missed me with that bullshit.

Yeah I mean and that’s where some of the tourney rules kill me like in ipf you can change your deadlift. I get they want to make it competitive between people but to throw a number out there just to get a person to go for a larger number then when they miss back off the heavier weight is a bitch move to me. In uspa you give your weight and that’s it once you walk away it’s set. The only thing you can change is opener
