The Fine Art Of Weight Training For Progress

Just reread this and @herrubermensch contribution and totally agree.

It’s been said and documented in many places that a training program…template…protocol (whatever you want to call it) needs to be run as stated…6 months or so; especially if you’re an upper intermediate lifter or above. Novice lifters are pretty much going to make progress on almost anything…while the higher level lifters are kicking and scratching for every pound and/or inch.

I believe there’s lots of folks that get a program and 2 months later… trash it because they didn’t put 100lbs on their bench press or get 20” arms.

I am doing pretty good. Still trying to get this divorce settled, but things have stabilized a bit so that is great. Workouts and work are good. How are you doing sir?

Ok, maybe I should start a new thread, but since it was mentioned. What are some good liver supports? Are over the counter sufficient. I will say that the divorce has caused an uptick in my alcohol consumption and could probably give the old filter some help.

I am good.

I believe that’s a universal by-product of divorce…alcohol. Please don’t get drug to far down the rabbit hole.

Personally I take milk thistle. Beings I don’t drink anymore and my aas usage is minimal…it works.
