I bit the bullet ten years ago and bought $3MM of policies: one policy with a fixed premium for ten years and one variable universal life that I could invest in as a retirement vehicle. Painful to pay those premiums over the years, but it would only be more expensive for me to do it all now.Poppy said:That’s about mine also. I shoot for < 125 on non training days…conditioning only. Chatting with my financial guy today and something a lot of folks don’t think about is cheap life insurance as you age. A high a1c will send the premiums thru the roof. I’m basically uninsurable…until I get my a1c a little lower.
