The Ozempic Files

So the doctor visit was $175 or should I say the functional medicine doctor appointment! And the prescription itself is $125.

That $125 get you one bottle which lasts six weeks and you do it at. 25 the first week .25 the second week .50 the third week and you keep going up until you hit 1 mg.

They were completely out of the medication so she went ahead and gave me a shot in the office of .25 mg. Last week which I did not see or feel any different and they’re gonna mail me the bottle sometime this week and I just continue one from there.

There are some peptide companies that sell it for $100-$125 a bottle but I would just rather pay these people 125 because I know it came from a compounding pharmacy and the quality might not be better but it gives me better peace of mind.

I was given some paperwork on it. I will take a screenshot of that and post it whenever I get home. They sold some other supplements that go with it. Also that is supposedly supposed to make it work better which I may look into down the road right now I’m just trying to focus on getting my thyroid rate to reverse my hair from when it send out on me last Christmas when I took some prescribed thyroid medication.

She told me to consume at least 150 to 160 g of protein and try to stay under 100 g of carbs a day and to stay away from any type of fatty foods because it could potentially make me sick, messed my stomach up and give me the shits! She also gave me a list of foods that I should eat, which they all look healthy and normal. It seems to me like if anyone would follow this food list and stay away from processed foods they would likely drop the weight to begin with because it’s basically a diabetics diet.

I think the reason why I cannot lose my stomach is because of stress and working shift work and possibly because I don’t eat as much as I should and it’s not consistent

But we sell sEe

I can vouch for the upset stomach. At .5… even my regular ole oatmeal sat heavy in my gut.

I also understand the gut thing. Stress will do it. Flying a desk for a while… my ab muscles protruded from slouching over a keyboard.

I found that doing vacumes a couple times a day or while I’m sitting at my desk for a minute or so helps tighten them up. There’s official terms for the ab muscles I can’t recall at the moment. Transverse something or other.

Haven’t weighed myself in a couple of days.

Just had fasted labs drawn yesterday for my check up in a week or two. This is going to be interesting. On paper… my a1c should have dropped by at least one half point. If not I’m going to be disappointed.

Here is my diet so far today. Pretty typical for every other day.
