Well, 2 hours later and no visible bruising… so here’s the scoop, deadlifts and bench tonight, right shoulder/bicep have been feeling very good the last few days with not training since Sunday, nutrition has been good, but H2O intake could be better… went to the gym tonight, needed to help my wife with her speed work, and get at least a good DL session in.

Deficit pulls, worked up to 2 doubles at 360 (80%), then AMRAP set at 385 (85%) w/o the deficit… this felt amazing, I hit 9 reps at what seemed like an RPE of 8, could have done at least 2 more before things started to get ugly, but I laid up. Move on to bench, taking my time warming up due to the issues last week hit a few sets of 5 paused at 95, 135 and 175, then to working sets… supposed to hit 200x6x2, 210x5x2, and 225x4x2… 200 was easy, everything felt nice and loose too, no issues with right shoulder. First set at 210 was good, was able to pause all 5 with no issue, took my usual 3 min rest, set up for set number 2 at 210, paused first rep and as soon as wifey gave the press call we went, about 6” off my chest something in my left armpit audibly popped, I didn’t even worry about finishing the press, I just drove it back high enough to dump it in the j hooks and get out of the bench. Immediately my bicep and left pec and armpit tightened up, little ROM right now, I’m icing off and on and waiting for bruising… I’ve never had issues with my left arm/shoulder, so this is a little bit of a bummer, I’ll continue to ice off and on tonight and ibuprofen, and we’ll see how it feels in the AM before I decide to go to doctor
 
That’s what I’m hoping for, I’ve fought pec strains before on the right side, to the point where a doctor told me if I didn’t stop benching for a while my pec would rupture, but up until last week and now tonight I’ve never had anything pull and pop like that in my arm pit. Last week it swelled to where it hurt to just put deodorant on, but was feeling fine by Monday, we’ll see what this one on the left side does… definitely feels like piss in my Cheerios though since I only have 2 weeks left on this block before I test and change my programming again
 
No bruising, no tear, or so I understand. I hear major pops in my shoulder all the time when the disconnected tendons get caught and pressed in the wrong position, then give way. It sounds horrible and hurts, but is no big deal. Hopefully something analogous happened here. Please keep us posted.
 
Little update, armpit into the interior of my bicep and something underneath my left pec are fucking KILLING me, and the ROM in my arm is getting worse, we’ll see what 4 am feels like when I wake up to start pounding coffee
 
I’m going in late to work and just got up and reading this.

Good grief. I can honestly say I’ve never had pain in arm pit.

Right armpit last week, which isn’t a surprise, I have a lot of issues with right shoulder/bicep… multiple rotator repairs and a partially ruptured bicep tendon 25ish years ago that was never surgically repaired. I can say this morning that what I did last week is much different, all the pain last week was in my armpit itself, this morning on the left side all the pain is in my pec (underneath) and down the inside of my arm between the biceps and the large head of triceps… @Bigmurph still no bruising, but swollen and sharp stabbing pain with movement. I’m pretty confident nothing is torn, but something is definitely angry with me.

Maybe this, pain and injury, is my body’s way of keeping me in a state of homeostasis?? Either way it’s a speed bump, a seemingly significant one, as I will probably err on the side of caution (something I NEVER would have done 10 years ago) and stay away from bench press and any other movements that bother the area until it heals properly
 
I would take it easy you can train around it brother but I wouldn’t push it injuries suck I know im doing push-ups and hack squats im not even lifting I will get back and so will you I truly believe that bpc157 or tb500 or hgh is something that you should add to your regimine I normally wouldn’t do this but you should look at the long peg hgh from BLANK you can figure out that part.

I really believe that it will help heal your body to a point were you don’t continue to keep getting injuries
 
I do know I have some abnormalities to the anatomy of my pec girdle, an MRI tech once told me there is a downward hook at the distal end of my clavicles where it comes together at the AC joint, she said it would lead to a lot of shoulder issues, which I’ve seen my fair share of on the right side… I’m definitely considering HGH as my wife already uses it, I just wanted to hold off for 4 more years until I’m 45, but it doesn’t seem like that’s in my best interest as of now. So I’ll probably be taking that advice and putting it to work @Bigmurph
 
You can use the long for 6-12 months and really get great healing I know someone right now actually multiple people but one specifically that is using the long hgh and said that its the best hgh for healing and longevity. He has used hgh for a really long time and he switched to the long to try it and won’t stop using it at all lol
He says that its a miracle compound I don’t believe that but it works differently than regular hgh I believe that soon all pharma hgh will be peg also it works much better for most reasons
 
Training log updates for the weekend

SATURDAY wk 10 day 3, squats and close grip.

Squats, 6x2 @ 200, used Buffalo Bar, these felt amazing, I’m still in shock at how my knees don’t hurt any more just by changing sleeves…

Close grip, 2x8, I should not have done these, but decided to gauge where my tricep is at, I was able to do 2x8 with 135 off of a 3 board, but the 6-8 reps were absolute pain.

Dumbbell row, 6x6, pulled a 70 off the rack and just stuck with it, it was way too light, but who gives a fuck, I was just going through the motions

Neutral Grip Lat PD, 3x8, working sets at 180, these felt good, little to no pull in my tricep

One arm DB OHP, 3x8, I stayed conservative on these, 30 lbs, and my truces was letting me know I was a dick on every rep

SCRAP THE LAST 2 WEEKS OF PROGRAM. Left tricep is fucked up, I know it’s not torn, I can do things like press downs, but when I put a bar
In my hands and try to do anything like a bench press or barbell OHP, it literally feels like my tricep is
Going to rip off my arm, mostly in the larger inner head.

On the upside, my wife is 3 weeks out from her bench meet, yesterday she smoked 135 for 3x3, and her goal is to bench 160, I think she’s there, but we won’t lay up on the training just yet, she’s got one more heavy week before relax time…

This sucks brother I believe that you should ask your doctor about hgh to help all these lingering soft tissue and tendon issues. I really believe that the long hgh would really help clear up some issues.
I really hope that everything heals up brother
 
Your on track I believe brother just dealing with injuries kinda like I am its holding us back now but neither of us is quitting.
I have no doubt you will continue to press on
