I knew a few guys around here that put their teenage sons on some gear in hopes that they would excel in their sports… I disagreed with them all, told them how stupid they were, and eventually stopped associating with them. It’s unfortunate when something like this happens, but the sad truth is, it happens more than we would like to think. Guys who didn’t amount to their hopes and dreams turning around and living vicariously through their sons, pushing them to excel at everything they were failures at. It’s sad
Yes, my area, not UGM. We have a handful of professional athletes from around my area, and everyone seems to think their kid can be the next big thing, it’s sad to watch, because most often the ones who do have true talent or even and inkling of a chance, get pushed so hard by their fathers they end up burned out… wrestling is the big one, everyone wants their kid here to be the next Tom or Terry Brands, or Dan Gable or even Cael Sanderson…
My
Son struggles with that cause he is a competitor and other kids use and he can’t keep
Up with their gain. Speed no
Problem but mass no go. I asked you all about that once and got a lot of good scary information to give him. He has since decided he will

Desire lol.
Anyone remember “Little Hercules” from 20 something years ago? He used to be in all the muscle magazines, on TV, and even toured in the US. It was reported at age 7 he could bench 180 and at age 8, 210 lbs…also was at 1% BF with ridiculous abs for that age. Though there was definitely suspicion about steroid use, I don’t think it ever officially came out if his father and trainer had him on them. It was sad hearing about his childhood as he really didn’t have anything normal…was all bodybuilding and martial arts, along with very strict diet. I’m not sure how old he was, but his dad was later arrested for domestic abuse and he was then able to decide what he wanted to do. Still exercises but definitely did not continue with bodybuilding. Was just searching the web and it turns out he was most recently working in films as a stunt man.
