To me the vaccine is ineffective. Something like 20% of the new cases are fully vaccinated people. I do understand though that the vaccine does reduce the seriousness of the virus. I don’t support the vaccine mandates at all its complete bull shit. They just slapped a new mask mandate across NY state where everyone must wear masks in all public places vaccinated or not.

On the other side though the MRNA technology isn’t new. They’ve been testing MRNA for a decade or more. These vaccines are the first to hit the market though. The whole idea around MRNA is they’ll be able to bring new vaccines to market faster by simply changing the RNA message code. Over all it has a lot of promise going forward.
