So back to work after five months. Lots of carrying stuff up stairs up and down ladders and lots of walking. Gotta get use to it before I start doing any heavy leg days again. But was thinking what if I wore a weighted vest to work for leg days after I get use to it. Start with a twenty pound vest then go to a forty. I would imagine that would be one hell of a leg day

I’ve used the ankle weights but the vest is much better and more comfortable to use brother.
You can honestly wear it through your whole workout and cardio.

Have really been thinking about getting a weighted vest for my walking route. I think I’d get off this last bit of weight quick. Where would you find something like that?

I am gonna find out the best ones. I have an old CrossFit friend that use to have one. Gonna ask her what’s the best. I don’t want something that is gonna have stuff moving around all the time. I’ll get back to you on it

I could see using weighted vest for cardio. But just add weights to the bar if you’re doing it on leg day. Haha

Makeing my normal work leg day. Wearing it for maybe three four hours to start up and down ladders and stairs and such at the construction site

Would still consider kore conditioning than actually leg day it would get in good shape

Possibly. I’ve never done it before so I will see how it feels after I try it out. I do go up and down the eight foot step ladders at least 80 times a day. But before I do any serious leg anything I gotta get use to the normal work day again. At 45 taking five months off takes a while to get use to it again. I will say however it is not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Probably because of the training I’ve been doing over that time frame

So what I found out is you want something that has a kidney pad because most the weights are at that height and for long use it takes it’s toll. She said they are used for “rucking”. Also mini sand bags for weights not metal plates. Much more comfortable. She couldn’t specify a brand that was necessarily better but just said look at reviews.
