Well some of you know, I’m a lawyer and a race engine builder and most recently became the head of my wife’s family business to boot. The lawyer part fits well with working out: it’s an imminently frustrating and overly intellectual job, so working out is just what you need as a counterbalance. Same thing with the wife’s family business. But the engine building is tough to mesh with working out because I do it in concentrated swatches (e.g., 48 hours with 4-6 hours of sleep), and it is very physical because I don’t have any kind of hoist system, so blocks and heads and cranks all get muscled up where they need to go. And I tend not to eat as much or as well as I should during those 48-hour periods. As an example, early last week I weighed in at 225 lbs. thanks primarily to some Anadrol, but after 48 hours in the shop, I was down to 213.
