Am crying am laughing so hard. Never seen no polish shit like that. I grew up I Detroit in the 80s. It was mostly first gen polish everywhere and never seen anything like that.

When I was a kid in Detroit…we used to go catch carp out of the rouge river (nasty) and trade them for weed with the ghetto folks.

My uncles fished the rouge River and sold carp outta there trunk they’d set up on a corner and ghetto folk come by and through them a five spot for a carp.

How could I have never heard of this. It’s pretty wild. My grandparents always made cod. Hell I was even sent to a polish school to learn the language and traditional dances and all that stuff. I guess I’m not a true polock. That’s it next year gonna put fucking carp in my tub. Hell maybe I make carp pierogies hahahahahahaha
