If im going to ban someone I will normally contact them through email or pm to give them the chance to do the right thing I guess is the best way to put it and it almost always ends on a good note I do this for this exact reason and I believe that you could definitely be right but I try so hard to make everyone even those complete douchebags happy even in the end.
