I like to bring jerky to work. I’m always on the move so it has to be quick and easy. I do like veggies though. I get Walden farms calorie free ranch. You could dip them in that. But the jerky would probably be more satiating.
Like @NeuroRN said, Boredom. Even though your job is busy you’re mind is actually bored. It’s totally physiological. If you can get up and take a small break try this. Do some push-ups or air squats maybe 10 rest 30 sec repeat for 5 min. See if that helps. Healthy snacks are also an option as have been mentioned. This is just a habit you’ve developed and no have to break. 5-7 days you can break it. Be sure to not have sugar during those breaks either. Sugar stimulates the same part of the brain as opioids and therefore makes it tough to stop.
I’ve actually had ZERO motivation to train. My whole body has been hurting plus got a bit discouraged from the questionable gear. If it was on point I shouldn’t feel this beat up. Gear should allow you to train harder and recover more efficiently.
Feel better. Trained legs relatively lightly today and did some strongman work for conditioning. Hoping to get back 100% Sunday. Finishing up 56 hours of work tonight. 56 hours from Tuesday- today
