Man my calves are on fire today. I added another inch to my calf raise platform yesterday and the added stretch alongside the added weight really destroyed them. Feels good to finally have found something that just might work to grow these little things
Damn I really need to get back on the ball with my log. Shit has been stupid. Work slowed down a lot and I’ve been picking up side jobs in a different state to make ends meet. The wife’s car just went into the shop with about a $600 repair bill too. And to top it off I still need to be able to snatch up some more items for me next run.
Still smashing food and work outs though so I feel good about that.
Funny you should mention that. I drink 2 BCAA/Karbolyn drinks when I train like that. I was getting in the mode to run slin but decided against it so I already have everything on hand for these types of drinks. The drinks are still great for that style of training and I use them intraworkout and post workout.
Yeah you have to have something like that or you are literally screwed. I’m doing 5*20’s on some of my lifts now. I drink during and post bcaa,s. GVT I tried years ago for a few months and learned the hard way you had to pound the supps to recover.
Lmao. So I’m at the gym training a client of mine and I’m teaching her proper form on lateral shoulder raises. I show her first, which is right in front of another guy working shoulders. I know I’m talking loud enough that he can hear me. My client begins to do the lifts and I’m helping to fix and isolate her form while explaining what she was doing wrong and why. Here is this guy next to us doing the exact same things I was just explaining NOT to do.
Bro it was awesome and sucked ass at the same time. I could have been a Staff Sergeant in 8 if I didn’t fuck myself with a DUI. Oh well that time has passed and I’m just a salty veteran with some things we did. You know.
