A day in the life of me

We only get to workout together 1 day a week but it’s still great and we look forward to it. She works out in the mornings and I coach her when I can before work. I work out in the evenings most days.
 
Hey brother I follow your log I just don’t comment much but this is just something that I have noticed you have made great progress. I just notice that everything else seems to be growing except your calves. I struggle with calves myself and so do many others. I just wanted to let you know what I have been seeing.
You are doing great. You are growing rapidly but I believe that those calves need to get hit harder.
I don’t want this to come off wrong its just some constructive criticism.

I don’t take that the wrong way at all man. My calves have always been able to get cut and veiny but I’ve had troubles getting them to grow. I’ve tried every rep count and weight change imaginable on them. Hitting them 1 day, hitting them 7 days you name it. I don’t know if it’s because I am always on my feet or what but I’m trying something new now and I’ll see if I can get them to respond. I’m working them 4 days a week with as heavy weight as I can at 3 sets of 15 to 20, wherever I fail at. Then moving weight up even if I can get 1 extra rep. So we’ll see in the next month or so if I can make them grow. I appreciate your input man. It just makes me drive harder.
 
I myself struggle trying to get what I consider good sized calves and I just can’t break mine to get big. Ive made progress over the past two years but I still don’t believe that my calves are not up to par.

Personal win today.

Today I saw an old buddy that I haven’t seen in about 2 years. He said, “holy shit man! I almost didn’t recognize you. You’re fuckin yoked bro!”

We all have troubles recognizing our own growth and physical achievements but when someone you haven’t seen in awhile can notice that much of a difference, it’s an added boost to confidence and motivation in knowing you’re doing it right.

Kilt it today. My daughter joined my workout today too. I was supposed to have a rest day today and work out tomorrow but I’m going out of town on business for the weekend and I’ll be working pretty much the next 30 hours. No time to get in my Saturday workout.

Just as suspected lol. No time for a workout yesterday. Woke up yesterday morning at 0300 Got to my job site and worked until 2015. Now it’s a side job so it’s by choice but that’s still rough hours lol. I’ll only be putting in about 10 hours today so I can have some time to relax when I get home.

With all the weight I’ve tracked as “gains” on this last cycle I should weigh in at about 202 right now. But holy shit I’ve sweat off almost as much as I gained. Netting me only an average of .3lbs a week on a 20 week cycle. Shit sucks ass. At least I still look like I was trying lol
 
Yea man shit sucks, if I’m not in prep or a cut I usually add a surplus of about 500 to 1000 cals to my maintenance during these hot few months, that usually keeps me at a steady weight and looking full. Higher sodium will help keep me from looking stringy especially if on Tren as well.
