BEEFULO? Does anyone eat this?

So I was just reading about proteins and it was talking about a hybrid of a cow and a buffalo that have been crossbred to get the extra meat but with more of a beef taste. It didn’t have any numbers on how much protein per lb or anything like that it really didn’t have much information at all that’s why I wanted to ask if anyone is eating this they did mention that its available in 21 states im guessing at a certain chain of supermarkets but they didn’t name the store or stores? Any information about this?

I can get it at my butcher. It’s very lean meat and can be hard to cook. Dries out. I like it. It is very beefy tasting. But I like aged beef and beef pâté 😁
 
I had never even heard of it you like beef pate I can’t do it that raw but I definitely love some really good aged beef. Ive had some kobe before because everyone was hyping it up and it was over priced but it was some amazing beef.
 
Depends. A 1/2 a cow is 4.99 a pound 1/4 is 5.50 I think for front. Rear 1/4 I think was closer to 7. If you get less then they charge more cuz your getting more prime cuts. Usually 8 bucks a pound or so for a 1/8 pound.
 
Used to grind our own hamburger meat after culling a angus. Would take that fresh ground meat. Put it on a saltine. Cracked pepper. Right there. Freshest of the fresh. 😂
 
I really wish I had that ability I still need to buy a freezer for the garage and then find a good butcher like that we have one that has pork half and whole im not sure how much but that would be a start for me after I get my freezer im going to have to talk with @Sig516 about getting a hundred lbs of chicken breast and 50lbs of quarters. A quarter cow sounds like a great buy but I would really like to get a half to get the ribs and also the front and back.

Get a freezer at Home Depot for like 150 bucks and will hold a 1/4 cow plus chicken. Doesn’t have to be a big dollar one. Plus if you go to a small town butcher. Become there l friends buy buying all your meat. you get better deals. Sometimes go in on a half cow with me and my two sons and my buddy, then it’s pretty cheap. 😁
 
Yeah I bet that has to be the best route would be getting a group together to get a whole cow and I ca actually butcher it down myself if I have the equipment to use it would just be extra money that I don’t have but a man can dream lol
I will get my freezer soon enough and stock it up so I never run out of protein again like I did at the beginning of this shit show virus smh

Let me check, but covid has that end screwd too. The longer restaurants are closed the more product gets left over. There actually millions of TONS in freezers in Louisiana. Oh yeah boys fair warning with this famine ramping up beef is gonna be high as heeeeell come late summer early fall. So if you got a freezer… cattle can’t be produced at the drop of a hat like poultry so demand will be high so says the people in big positions anyways. But you can grow birds to full size in between 40 to 50 days @Outlawthing
 
Yeah me either just talking beef futures. No tags for them. My state isn’t selling licenses to out of state hunters. Ships gone too far
