Beginning self administered TRT (labs included)

Hey guys sorry for the late reply. So to clarify, I seen a TRT doc who said my levels are fine which IMO they aren’t. Im interested in TRT from an anti aging standpoint. From the research I’ve done my levels are low from an anti aging standpoint. I’m 43 years old. I’m in very good physical condition especially for my age, currently 160 lbs at 5’7 with prob 12% BF, very lean and I train intense 5+ times a week. I’ve noticed the normal symptoms from low To, lack or energy, low libido, lack of concentration. In Canada it’s hard to find someone to prescribe without extremely low levels. I eat extremely clean, basically Paleo with zero processed food. I’ve eliminated all plastic from my house, filter water, use all natural products, get semi annual vitamin and mineral testing to ensure I’m nutrient proficient. Basically I’ve done everything I can from a natural standpoint to increase my T. I know it will continue to decline as I age so I’m adamant about supplementing low dose T to compensate to curb age related illness and disease. If anyone has any suggestions or advice let me know. Thanks so much for the reply guys it’s greatly appreciated

Gotcha so @John was right no doctor. I believe that you should atleast spend the first 12 months with a doctor and get everything dialed in then do what you want.

If you can’t find a doctor who understands your situation that’s horrible

I’m going to give my 2 cents on premise of NO doctor.

No diabetes, hypertension, bp issues, prostrate problems

You’ve got labs.

You’ve read the TOT Bible by Jay Campbell

I would recommend starting on 100mg cyp every 4 days. Then close that in to every 3 days as the pinning gets easier and more routine…maybe 90 days or until you get comfortable. Get labs again…reassess how you “feel” and maybe up to 125mg every 3 days.

Donate blood

Labs twice a year.

So hes start 100mg cyp a week, I assume your at least splitting that dose twice a week @timtimlucier ? And it sounds like you got your shit in order, i don’t see why you can’t up it to 200? Do you have any sides, gyno issues? I assume your trying to bulk up

200mg once every two weeks is what I see a lot
That’s what the docs say. They’ll even tell you to pin once every two weeks.

The average optimal protocol is 125mg cyp e3d. That’s supposed to give you most bang with no sides. Adjustable for individuals of course. Basically 250 @ week which should keep the average guy in the upper range with no sides.

Hahaha means a little. I’ve messed some stuff up bad in my life. Some things i can say how to do it right and wrong…others i can tell you how not to do it…and thats it.

Thanks so much guys. I truly appreciate it. I plan on giving blood twice as year as per protocol. I will get my blood work done in 90 days to see where my T levels are and I’ll adjust as needed. As for pinning 2x a week that isn’t an issue. When it comes to health I’m laser focused on what works, pinning is small obstacle. I take tons of natural compounds daily so adding something else to my protocol won’t be an issue at all. From everything I’ve read and researched I’m hoping 100mg-150mg/week will put me in the upper normal limit. I’m definitely not looking for a cycle. Hopefully one day an anti aging doc will be available to me and I’ll gladly go under his care. Just not available to me at this time other than possibly virtual doc. Thanks again. I’ll keep u guys updated. Also side note I’m going sub q injections as the research shows less troughs compared to IM.

Becareful with virtual docs some are not really docs and they send you ugl gear. We have seen this scam in the past. Just make sure if you do use virtual the doc is legitimate brother.
Wish you the best

More of my 2cents. I’m sure there are legit virtual trt docs but I’ve heard nothing but ripoffs.

Thanks guys. I’d only use virtual doc if I feel it’s needed. I really think I can do this on my own. Maybe one day I’ll have a local doc available. The T I have now I got from a site sponsor. Super easy process. You guys answer so damn quickly I feel between what I’ve researched and the knowledge here I should be pretty well off. Take care boys, I appreciate the info and I’ll keep ya updated in my journey for optimal health.
