Blood work at results as of week 10

I posted earlier about starting a TRT protocol and then I posted about best time for labs following injection. So here’s the update. I inject 125mg of cypinate on Mondays and I had my labs done the filling Friday. Still waiting on my free testosterone (health care is brutal and slow right now here) Results are as follows (Canadian measurements)

Hemoglobin - 146 g/L
Hematocrit - 0.428 L/L
Total Testosterone - 23.7 nmol/L
PSA - 0.52 ug/L
LH - 0.3 IU/L
FSH - <0.2 IU/L
Estradiol - <55 pmol/L
TSH - 1.54 mIU/L
Prolactin - 23.69 ug/L
DHEA - 8.1 umol/L

My original total Testosterone was 17.6 nmol/L before starting TRT. So my levels have went up considerably as this 4 days after injection and well into my trough. I feel good overall. Definitely a little leaner and more vascular. I haven’t
donated blood yet but I plan to do so soon. Any suggestions would be welcomed. I’ve been debating pinning twice a week but as of now have put it off as I’m currently happy with how I feel during the week. I’m using TRT as part of an anti aging protocol and with that being said I’d like my levels to be a little higher so I’ve debated upping my dose. I’m 43 years old 5’7 and 157 lbs. I’ll post a current pic below. As I said I’m open for suggestions.

First you look great.

Second if you feel great and are comfortable with everything you’re doing now then why change?

How much longer until you get your T labs back?

Thanks man, Hoping to get my free testosterone labs back soon. Everything is still over the phone in Canada and I have to keep calling the doc, but it’s hit or miss getting through. As for making a change to the protocol it’s a matter of hitting the values that are recommended from an anti aging standpoint.

I’m not familiar with the Canadian lab value and they all seem to be different. In your other post you mentioned fsh and lh were low, and you were concerned. They will be low as long as you are taking exogenous testosterone. That’s the way it goes. Maybe talk to trt doc about getting on some hcg.

Looking good.

One of the generally accepted trt protocols is 125mg test cyp pinned e3d.

That is supposed to keep you at optimal levels with zero peaks and valleys.

Test cyp tends to crash at day 4.

This protocol is, also, supposed to render little to no sides. That means you should not require any ancillaries.

Keep in mind everyone is different.

I believe we’ve had this conversation before… are you adverse to pinning more than one day a week?

I’m not against pinning more than once a week. I was very interested in seeing how my levels were at the 4 day post pin mark which was still higher than my pre trt number. Do you mean 125mg split or 125mg each pin.

We’ve spoken about splitting the dose. As I said earlier I’d like to get my values up a little more and was thinking of 75mg Monday and 75mg Thursday for a total of 150mg a week. Does this seem like a realistic protocol to you or do you prefer every 3 days which would be 10 pins a month rather than 8-9 pins a month.

Like @Poppy said, if you are feeling good why change? If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! Lol
One tweak I’d do is pin 2x per week . Helps keep levels even as stated above. Also like @NeuroRN said, check with the doc about HCG. May not help with FSh/lh depending on how long you’ve been on TRT but will help keep your peanuts from atrophying

IMHO… I would start with 75mg two days a week as you stated ( Monday & Thursday).

Do that until your next labs. That should level you out much better than the whole load once a week AND you will be at the same total weekly dose. That will also get you pinning multiple times a week. That’s not for everyone. I don’t like it…personally… but I have to.

If you feel good and your labs are where you would like them then why change. Maybe inch it up a bit to see what kind of “bang for your buck” you’re getting.

I personally believe there’s a point of diminishing returns where introducing excessive amounts of exogenous test just isn’t worth the little bit of extra T on the labs…especially for therapy.

I believe you’re doing it exactly correct. Introduce this stuff to your body in a controlled intelligent manner while monitoring bloods. Take a year or so to dial it in.

Blahahaha

When you get older it kind of works out.

I had old man cod sack… dragging it behind me… sitting on it… it was seriously in the way. Since trt the past however many years. The ole cod has kind of drawn up to “normal” size. It just all kind of evened out.

I will also say that there are some that are hyper-responders to test. @Kad1 gets super high labs with a relatively small dose… he gets a lot of “ bang”.

You have to see where you fall into the mix. I’m kinda just a regular responder.

To answer your question… it’s 125mg e3d. That’s what I’ve been on for a bit now. I was e4d but closed it in one day. I will stay on that for about a year.
