Caffeine Tolerance

About 30 years ago i learnt the personal necessity of a daily metabolic booster to help me fight my low metabolism , at an early age i learnt the properties of caffeine. Over the years after using and trying a lot of other things i use caffeine daily, but i keep it well under control to avoid crushes and tolerance increase; is what works best for me as a pre work out also. For the past 5 years i have been operating like this:- 200 mg as soon as i wake up. 1 hour and a half after, 100 mg more to work out. Then 100 mg about 2 pm to cruise the rest of the day. Lately i have been noticing some kind of lethargy in the middle of the day, so the day before yesterday i increased the 2 pm serving to 200 mg…let me tell you , i have been feeling great, doing my cardio after work more efficiently and an overall great sensation of well being. well no doubt about it , my body now needs more; anyways i do not think that 500 mg of caffeine a day are bad at all, so i don’t really feel the need of detoxing for a few days to lower tolerance.
How much caffeine do you consume daily?

Me i drink one sugar free grape redbull in the morning and my preworkout 4 days a week and thats it. Im naturally wired all the time since i have extreme amounts of nervous energy so my problem is opposite hard for me to calm down enough to sleep at night. Actually am prescribed gabapentin, trazadone, and silenor from my primary care physician to help sleep. It does the job most nights but if im really stressed i might have to take a xanax here and there to get it done but overall life is great and im very happy

Okay…I know you are a man of God so I wanna suggest this. Sometimes I experience over concern for things and affairs that don’t go my way. When I was in my addiction it was really bad. After all this years walking with the Lord I learned that power of prayer. Sometimes I wake in the middle of the night too feeling quite awake…I pray myself to sleep

I will def try to do that my brotha i know itll take some practice but with time i should be able to make it reality. Thank you for your great advice as always Pastor love you for the person your are brotha

I just take whatever is in my pre workout. I feel like caffeine is over talked for side effects. Google him stoppani. I think he has a video on this with some scientific stuff to back him up.

Pre work out like nitric oxide?
Is hard for me to find one with out niacine…I can’t stand the skin itching or one with the right amount of caffeine in it

Yeah. Pretty high. But he def has an article somewhere that he talks about how we should be getting a decent amount of caffeine each day. I haven’t seen it in awhile but know it’s somewhere.

@Pastor have you ever considered taking a high quality iodine supplement for your metabolism issues? You might consider it. I personally use I-Throid 6.25mg. Very inexpensive on Amazon and contains both potassium iodide and free iodine. The normal range of the thyroid is so broad you could have a normal functioning thyroid but it is slow for your body needs. My ND keeps my thyroid near the hyper end of the range.

Did you have your thyroid checked recently or have had any thyroid problems in the past? Trying to help find the root of your problem @Pastor instead of treating symptoms. Sorry if my questions sound intrusive.

No beloved no problem. I never had a thyroid issue but my metabolism is obviously slow so a while back I read a post from MM about HGH with t4, I got it and that t4 hit home run for me. As I go on TRT and start full SBL cycle will use his t3, much better I believe

@Pastor be safe my friend. Place your health at the top of your list… your wife deserves it. I wish you the absolute best of everything that life has to offer. 😉

Unsolicited advice - Have blood work, at least thyroid, done before taking the T3 and again after cessation. Permanent thyroid shutdown is not something us ol’ dogs need to deal with if we do not have to. I have some experience in this area and I was able to correct my metabolic issue with a simple supplement of high quality iodine.

T3 combined with hGH has its benefits. 🙂
