Just ran across this newer protein powder that is a Christmas peppermint bark flavor to start getting into the spirit. Haven’t tried it yet but smells nice and should be good mixed in my Ninja using ice, milk, oats, and the protein powder. Verdict is pending.

Kids are now getting stir crazy wanting me to put up some lights outside. I decided no trees this time as that was a huge pain especially when taking them down. Tree will probably go up over the next week.

Well that didn’t last long had to try it. Definitely a nice flavor variety! Now going to head out to hit legs as I’ve been out of town the past couple days. Going for a heavy belt squat emphasis day. Just turned on the garage heater, so once it hits 62-65 time to get it on.

My garage has heater also mounted on ceiling, gets hot pretty quick.

Well at least it isn’t the pumpkin everything flavor that starts up early October and never goes away until March or so!! Just don’t bash my love of coconut with chocolate (aka Mounds or Almond Joy). 😂

I’m a fan of the almond joys too and I hear you with the pumpkin spice stuff! Enough is enough with that lol. But I don’t think I could get into that peppermint bark either

Yeah for now I do like it but think it’s likely one of those flavors that will get old after I go through this 1 tub. Then back to my staple plain vanilla as I can make so many different flavors using that. My favorite is adding a splash of sugar free vanilla coffee creamer with milk and ice and mix it up using my ninja blender.

He does have a few different flavors for the season. Honestly, I’m not really a fan of the guy (Seth Feroce) and his podcast. Not exactly sure why it doesn’t sit well me. But disclose I don’t really know much about the guy, aside from being a prior IFBB pro card holder. Sometimes the podcasts are entertaining (sometimes an educational) watch; however, some of his general comments, views, and content makes me cringe a bit. Read some comments available after the podcasts and there’s definitely a trend from the BB community to be more negative than positive thoughts about him. As far as being an IFBB pro, which by no means makes him a guru qualified to formulate various supplements, doesn’t hold much water with me. It seems highly likely he relies more on scientists to develop his supplements.

Any others have any background knowledge (positive or negative) about this guy?

Never heard of the guy. The supplement industry is multi billions… I’m thinking there’s enough pie for lots of folks to get a little slice.

I’ve always seen him as a jo bs guy. I wonder if the hate cows from is he is real about steroids aren’t healthy and they will o kill uou and people don’t like hearing it

Very true. From the limited pieces of his podcasts I have seen include him being very upfront about his long term high dosages of steroids and then the reasons he is now sticking with a TRT dosage and focusing primarily on health and longevity. That is definitively a positive imo and probably does rub some people that refuse to accept PED overuse certainly has serious risks.

Or they don’t like his cursing it’s a bit much for me and I’m a foul mouth. But I don’t need to hear it he’s every other word haha

Haha so to try and redeem myself from the disgust of the peppermint bark protein powder, I’m switching to something completely different. LOL.

So been under the weather over the past few days (seems a type of flu is definitely going around). I finally got my appetite back yesterday evening and went with this.

Pork loin salad.
Lots of ingredients which include of course lean pork loin but seasoned it with Rudy’s BBQ rub (staple from when I used to live in TX for grad school). Then sautéed some peppers and onions with garlic, cayenne, and salt/pepper. Then added in my favorite olive combination (muffuletta style, awesome on sandwiches but can be used for many other dishes) with some low calorie/fat free cheddar/mozzarella cheese, then topped with a minimal sugar balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Probably could have done the same with a zesty Italian dressing too. Overall just destroyed this salad with another leftover pork loin piece for later.

Just a few pics of the result!

I think you hit the nail on the head. I can definitely tolerate profanity but he can be a bit over the top. Constantly seems to talk about being “f-able” and being able to give it to the old lady (in more colorful language). This pattern just carries to just how he talks in general (probably just his personality which I’m not going to knock). Most often I agree with many of his views, but it was most likely the delivery he went with that seemed to put me off. Nothing against the guy at all and he clearly has been quite successful with his business model, which I of course respect!
