I believe they do starve Gamefowl of food so they become more aggresive and possessive of their food. Then when it’s time they throw them in a scratch pen with a small amount of food, so they’re more willing to fight. The most common method that I’ve seen (in video) is both trainers hold both fowl face to tace and let them peck each others faces for a few minutes, then the trainers will take turns letting the other bird peck it on the back of the neck, that really pisses them off and gets them fired up and willing to fight.
Some of the training regimens I’ve heard them put these animals through is gut wrenching, attaching them to mechanical devices to force them to fly or work for hours and hours at a time, 6-7-8 hours non stop. There’s a special place in hell for people like them.
