I’m not arguing people aren’t born certain ways or feel different about who they are. My little brother as a kid was feminine. It was there before he ever came out but still doesn’t change the fact he’s male. Biology can’t be left off the table. Even studying the brain is Biology.
I have a dad speach I give to my young friends family members and such when they’re going to be new parents.
When your baby is born you’re going to get advice on how to raise your child from inlaws outlaws and everybody who knows how to raise your child better than you. You have three choices… nod politely and then raise your kid as you see fit…. Nod Your politely and tell them to eff off…. Take everyone else’s advice and raise your kid as your told to. You’ll be judged on the legacy you leave. Make no apologies on the decisions you make for your kids.
Of course that omits the folks that have no business procreating and those folks that were raised relatively ok and turned out rotten.
Imo that also should include NOT introducing your children to alcohol tattoos recreational drugs etc at a young age just cus it’s part of the culture the parents partake in.
Again my opinions… no one tells me how to raise my kids… beatings/timeouts…etc etc. i get enough mandates from the government.
So far I’m batting 1000 with my process and thoughts. Well see how baby girl fairs…3rd generation junkie criminal useless human. So far so good.
When the mothership lands and everything goes to hell…it’ll all be over.

Ehhh, I’d question that. I’ve seen a heckuva lot of stuff in the media lately claiming all kinds of crazy things about gay and trans people. Calling them groomers, publishing videos out of context, etc.
As a matter of fact, I’ve experienced this personally. my boyfriend was featured recently online while he was doing outreach and charity work for the community. I won’t include the context here for the sake of privacy, but suffice it to say the video was edited in such a way as to imply he was interacting with a child in an inappropriate way at a public function. The post got millions of views, thousands of likes and hundreds of angry commenters worried about “the children”. My mind was legitimately blown how sleazy these media people are, as my boyfriend and I scrolled through the comments, laughing at all the people who were genuinely angry over literal fake news. They know exactly what buttons to push. It was an eye opening experience.
To me this is definitive proof that this is all culture war bullshit. The people publishing this stuff are only in it for the clicks and the cash. And in between all of it is us, the ordinary folks caught in the middle just trying to get by. We’re the real casualties. Because at the end of the day, it’s profitable to pit us against each other. It’s really that simple.
On one news site just last week I counted 5 stories similar to this one on their front page alone. This is a propaganda campaign focused on “othering” an entire demographic of folks who just so happen to have body dysphoria, something they cannot help.
As Hank Hill would say: “That ain’t right.”

Haha thanks! The point I forgot to sign off on with is this: the original Pride was a literal riot. Or, in other words, a protest. A violent one. And, especially at the time, it was not without good reason — the 80s and 90s was a scary time to be a homosexual. A violent protest is usually a response that happens when people feel like they have no other choice.
These days, we celebrate Pride because of these forces that still insist on inserting a wedge between us to score political points and dollars. Because scary stuff is still happening to us, even to this day.
