Am I the only one pinning traps? Traps for me is one of those spots I never have issues with. Only thing I’ve ever felt is the oil pulsing in. For me it’s glutes, delts, lats, and traps. Traps being the easiest for me.
I probably inject quads more then anything else. Rule of thumb I use is imaging putting your hands in your pockets and pick a spot around the tip of the middle finger. My spot is about three inches diameter. Don’t remember where I learned that but I think it was from someone on here
That was a tip from @TBU when I pin traps I pull my shoulders up. Pick the peak and that’s where I pin. I just reach across with the opposite arm. I recommend not using the side your pinning to support the arm you’re pinning with. I tried to use my arm to support my pinning hand and it caused my trap to flex which will actually push the pin out.
Hand in pocket. Area of palm is pinning point. Check for surface veins. Mark a spot. Sit down no weight on leg, pin. I use 25 1” needles in quads. Never had an issue. Ever. But I’m built different.
