Just bending over to pick up something on the floor… Or driving the car hurts it…shit even taking a shit…Feels more like around the lower spine even in the ass cheeks… Feels like a knuckle that wants to pop but won’t
Sounds like back pump to me. One more question though if you didn’t think it was back pumps wHt deadlift with hurting lower back. If it’s injury your only risking making it worse
Just trying to push through the pain. I’ve missed out on plenty of leg days because of quad shots. Another reason I started this thread. The deadlifts were painful and the leg press was painful enough after 2 reps to finish the leg workout. Just trying to get the legs to catch up to the body. I don’t skip it but the quad shots force me to skip legs wayyyy to many times… I was going to go to chest but I said fuck it just do the legs… I don’t know if it was because I sat on a hard chair for dinner or what but that’s when it started hurting… It didn’t hurt while eating dinner but afterwards as I continue to sit having a conversation… I did not work out at all yesterday either when it started hurting
Maybe not do any training that aggravates the area until you get to the root cause. It may be regular old back pumps OR it can be spine/disc/vertebrae problems that can lead to all kinds of nasties.
NSAIDS and painkillers treat the symptoms… no bueno
I lived with back pain for a long time until I started going to a chiropractor regularly… once a month at least and started stretching way more.

Yeah I don’t know it’s something related to what you said… I don’t think it’s back pumps for me because when that happens I just quit the exercise move on to something different and it’ll go away within 10 minutes

Not lecturing… from a soon to be 62yo… all my injuries, indiscretions and bad decisions are coming back with extreme prejudice. I’m getting aches and pains from stuff that happened decades ago that I’ve long forgotten.
These days my body is saying “remember this incident a-hole… 1984…motorcycle crash and you refused medical care… I’m baaaack”…
I dropped it for 2 days because I took 2 days off then came back half dosages now full dosages again… everything’s gravy… Anyone know the average sled weight on leg presses?
