I thought I’d clarify something on diets here. Yes. It is important to grow BUUUUUUT there is a difference in bodybuilding and powerlifting.
First. What are your goals? If you want to have a beach body, then yeah. Diet is key. If you want to compete, diet is everything. Now, diet as a BB and diet as a power lifter? 2 different things. I’ve never been a BB but, trained as a powerlifter. What the difference you might ask? Calories. With more calories added as a powerlifter. I can tell you this much, I would never lift as heavy on a bodybuilder diet as in a powerlifting diet. Only certain freaks can do this. (Ronnie Coleman is a freak) but he was very disciplined on what calories (macros) he ate. Most of the time. Now. He had an off season diet. (Lots of calories) not so much macro diet. And preseason/show diet (deficit) macro watched diet.
Long winded but my point. Bulking means a little looser diet plan (yay pizza!) and competition means boring (boo brown rice and baked chicken 5 times a day)
So know what you want to achieve. And do your research. What I eat everyday works for me. (Powerlifting. Sort of. I’m getting old) but my future will be weight loss and lose bf here in my near future. (That sucks) Eat your plan. Bulk. Calories. Cutting. Marcos. Hope this makes some sense. It’s not just a certain type of AAS that bulks you. It’s calories. Have a great day all you fabulous muthafukkas!

Very true. If I put on 10lbs. from my current weight (220), lifts all go up 10-20 lbs., and I feel very strong and solid, but fat. Conversely, if I lose 10 lbs from my current weight, I feel ripped and lean, but I struggle to get up the same weights. Were I a power lifter, I’d be eating everything in sight and blowing up and getting strong as Hell. But at my advanced age (ha!), I prefer the lean look, and frankly, relative to most people, I still look pretty damn big, so its kind of the best of both worlds.
