They provide a lot of lateral support and yes, heat them up if you put them on 30 minutes before a workout. Last thing I need is to blow out an ACL or MCL doing squats. That would end me!
I would use a belt but I can’t make myself buy one one of those things like I’m doing fine with out. Do you guys think I would get crazy looks if I used nothing in a meet
@JLee , if you want compression out of the Slingshot sleeves, either 5 or 7 mm, order them a size small just like the SBD’s, otherwise they’re really not that springy… the best “compression” sleeves I ever had were Dave Tate’s EFS HEAVY sleeves and the Metal sleeves.
