Ice coffee has been my current go to, but have tried some of the powders. Gorilla Mode and Bucked Up. After trying them it seems just regular ol’ caffeine works just as well. Not really sold on the NO precursors in the powders, but there is some literature that supports L-citurlline and beta alanine, but think those things are very minor for just the general person (I.e., not competing).
 
I mean they don’t necessary drive performance but they do help get blood to muscles. Thing is you have make sure they are dosed correctly. So many out there skimp on the goods
 
10mg Cialis/25mg Viagra, cinnamon raisin bagel with chocolate almond butter, banana, coffee, and protein shake. Wait one hour, then pump.

The citrulline and tyrosine stuff DOES work for me, but I hate the way it makes me feel. With the above, I FEEL better. And I’m too fucking old and cranky for a workout–something I love–not to FEEL good. Soreness and pain, no problem, but jittery unpleasant mind, NFW. Too old for that.
 
I had chocolate pop tarts for the first time yesterday morning and OMG, I love those things! I had worked over 24 hours straight in my shop, subsisting on three hours sleep on an air matress in the shop (not exactly luxurious or good sleeping), and I HAD to eat! So McD’s for a double quarter pounder (I missed breakfast) AND a couple of chocolate poptarts. And of course three or four cups of Pike Place. That did me right.

NB: Woke up at 211 lbs. this morning to boot, so I clearly used all of those carbs!

Thanks man… Anticipation is a little more than usual… Had a scope down my throat Monday then moved Wednesday so today I’m trying to get most everything organized in the new apartment so I can go to the store and buy my meals and get this shit started tomorrow… And I can’t wait for the fun to begin…
