Gear Hoarding Story - Caution

Hope everyone is well. Just wanted to share a story that was passed along to me at the gym for consideration and safety. The gentleman who is a long time brother at the gym had his house broken into several weeks ago where multiple firearms were stolen, specifically in their cases. Unfortunately one of the cases contained around 30 vials of misc. oils. A stolen car was pulled over the next day where everything was recovered, including the vials. He is now being charged with felony possession with intent due to the quantity. Be caution of the gear hoarding guys… wise man told me long ago only have what you really need in your possession!

The guy should have never been charged. He had to have admitted to the possession of the vials unless he was sloppy and left prints all over the vials. Even then. Once the case was stolen he was no longer in possession of the case and whatever was inside he knows nothing about. This is why everyone should read Legal Muscle. If he has a good attorney he’ll get off.

I agree with you totally…the burden of proof is on them…I would never admit it was mine.

They might have charged him but the case will go where. I find it hard to believe they would charge him just by stumbling upon some gear in a stolen vehicle. There probably is some other facts he isn’t telling you.

Well… they were his guns and cases … hopefully doest go anywhere for his sake, great family guy. Sure it is could be fought in court… lots of aggravation though.

I’d say a good lawyer should be able to get rid of all that. Unless, he admitted to it then he was dumb. Never talk to the cops without representation by your lawyer.

Yes I get that, but they cant prove he put them in there. For all they know the people responsible for stealing his car stuffed them in the case. If he gets a good attorney he wont have a thing to worry about.

Agree … I don’t have all the granular details. The point to the story is unexpected things can always happen that could jam you up if you are hoarding unnecessary qualities of chems.

I agree. There is a thing called “fruits of the crime” that would keep him safe. They would charge the thieves on distributing and theft of firearms. But I don’t believe you can charge him. But I didn’t sleep at a holiday inn nor am I a lawyer. Plus 30 vials?

That’s so messed up. I guess my paranoia of only having my current cycle and no more at one time is a good idea.
He could say it was the thieve’s gear, and the finger prints were put on the vials by him too.
