Thanks brother !!! Start your kids young and set them up for success. For many years I didn’t fish I tied hooks and baited hooks and yelled when they tried to see if the fishing pole floats or not. But always put my kids on the good spots so they would be successful and now it’s in their blood. But starting them young was the key. I’d take them hunting with me when they were 6 and then they’d have fun following the blood trails and finding the deer. Now I can’t keep up with them lol.
I’m thankful for @Burl, cause of you I’m gonna try ashagwanda, the kind your recommended,I am lookin for something, other then prescribed shit to help my peace a mind.
Btw good job on quitting drinking and drugging it’s very hard to do. Keep it up for 2021. Also I think you saying my family is badass is the best thing anyone has ever said to me. Thanks for that.
Yes absolutely I can’t wait till they are old enough to be interested, I love to crappie fish and catfish but I have never hunted before and I really want to teach my kids. So we are going to figure it out soon enough.
Hell yeah we may have to start a hunting thread for beginners lol here pretty soon, I think by next year you guys can have me lined out but I need to get a rifle first, I have recently got a 9mm for home protection bcz of all this shit going on. What that kind would you guys suggest for dear? A 300? Right on @John I never really thought of that lol thanks guys
You can use a 300 for a deer but it’s a bit much and ammonia really expensive. If you plan on hunting bear and elk and Moose in the future and only want one gun then yes. But I like a flat shooting gun for the 3 or 400 yard shots where you don’t need to worry too much about ballistic or there than windage. I like a 7mm mag or a 270. And those are also both sufficient for big game as well.
