I was checking around workout apps to log my workouts. I used to use Jefit and then moved to one thats on ios only but they removed it from the store. So I decided to check around and first checked out Strong app. I liked it but was expensive for what it offered and didnt seem to have anything updated recently from developer. Then I saw the Hevy app.
Its pretty similar except paid version is cheaper and seems to be more active from developers. I can setup my cardio and home daily setups and different folders for
other programs I follow like John Meadows Mountaindog workouts and Doggcrapp workouts. Off course I modify them to what I have available at the gym here and what I do to work around my injuries.
The social aspect of the Hevy app is ok and I think its cool to follow what friends are doing but also to hold people accountable. You can see if someone is missing workouts (if setup to share) and get on them about why. But what I really like is the ability to share workouts. So I can share a day like this (mind it this is adapted from the principles of DC and adapted to injuries with my current split tuesday, thursday, saturday and sunday) and others can use the same plan or use it as a starting base to move from.
Im still currently natural at least for a few months before going back on cycle which will be low one for now. I'll be adding some routines from my old jefit when time, to include old ones like Mountaindogs two a day workout routine and others in a different subforum here for members only to use if they want.
