HGH dosing for injury/surgery recovery

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, I used fast acting insulin and extraordinary eating to put on size. And it worked, but in my case, I got a bit porky. Hitting PRs on the weights, but weighing in at 240 lbs. at 5’10". I was a scary beast, but couldn’t run a mile without having to stop and being completely out of breath. I probably did not use insulin as intelligently as I could have, but that whole experience spooked me away from it.

Atta boy!

Even in nursing school we are taught insulin is scary and more dangerous that most drugs and be 10x more careful etc etc etc. but Victor Black has highlighted the benefits of basal use and how difficult it actually is to kill yourself with insulin.

Obviously give it the respect it deserves. But I firmly believe it’s a health first decision that a lot more people should be considering.

But hell. That involves BS checks 3-4 times a day starting out and I’m just now getting most people on telmisartan 😭😂

It’s really weird isn’t it? Every article I find on it, even on bodybuilding sites, goes out of its way to emphasize that insulin is dangerous. Like, maybe if you measure out the wrong dose or go ham? But the thing they constantly overlook is that diabetics tolerate that exact same risk every damn day.

It’s downright idiotic. If you go into it with blinders on, I’ll concede it’s dangerous — it’s not like dbol where you can do a bunch and not suffer any consequences. But that danger is easy to manage, as proven by diabetics using the drug every day of their lives.

:clap:t2::clap:t2::clap:t2::clap:t2::clap:t2::clap:t2::clap:t2: I think the danger lies in fucking up dosage. If I double my dose of test bc I’m not paying attention. No real harm done. If I take 20 u of regular insulin instead of 10. The Potential for danger is high.

BUT. why are you fucking around the AAS and insulin if you dont know your body? I know when I’m going hypo and I don’t use slin. I keep starburst in every backpack and gym bag that I own bc once I feel it coming I act.

Either way. I agree with you. Respect the compound and you will be fine.

Apologies for the delayed follow up and response. I really don’t remember. I do remember that I was using the ultra-fast acting version so that it would hit quickly before a workout and maximize my strength, but not have long-lasting impact if I overdosed. I still had a number of times I had to eat my way out of hypo. I just didn’t handle the compound as intelligently as I should have, I was smart enough to recognize that, so I stopped using it. Insulin absolutely can be used intelligently safely to achieve bodybuilding goals. I just subsequently found it unnecessary to accomplish mine.
