So I happened to be watching a show the other day and I have always wondered how they make milk out of oats and soy also almonds and other products.
Here I am thinking that they crush or squeeze them lol
I really had no idea lol
For oatmeal milk it was actually really easy
Take your whole oats not instant or any processed oats use only whole oats.
Take the amount of water that you are supposed to use for that amount of oats to cook
Then mix the water and oats let sit out over night
Next mourning put the oats from the bowl into a blender and blend
Next use cheesecloth or a fine strainer to strain the mixture
The liquid left after straining is your oatmeal milk.
It will have more protein than any other milk except soy and will be free of sugar or additives that are usually added to products like this.
You can use it in coffee instead of cream or milk you can even put it on cereal.
Enjoy a great boost of natural protein without additives or processing
