Hey everybody I need opinions. I’m going to donate some blood on Friday. Anybody know how long after that I can work out? I know there’s a plethora of information on the internet, but you are my go-to people!
Listen to your body if you feel good to train later that day than get after it if not then go the next day. Too many people dont listen to what their body is telling them and thats where problems happen
Last time i donated i drank close to about a gallon of water while at work and ate a few really good meals, My donation was set an hour after work and when i was done i felt like nothing was even done. Still took the advice and waited 24 hours to workout and even that workout was a relativly light day. I would recomend staying away from cardio for at least 48 hours!
When I donate first a.m. I can easily go train later that day without issue. Even heavy sparring or cardio. If you feel you should wait 24 hours or more by all means do but don’t think it is absolutely necessary if you feel ok.
The human body will replish it’s water balance fairly quickly.
