There are, I never really found too much luck with dating sites other than casual hookups. I try to look for something a little more serious. And surprisingly have had better luck finding people at meetups, music festivals, and not gay bars xD

flowers potted before my embolism, but they died while I was in the hospital.
Well that sucks damn

I just actually installed a yard feature with stone and I cut back and fertilized the plants and flowers there booming since the sun came out but man this heat is crazy working on the plants and grass.

Its worth it though when it looks good also makes the wife happy

I remember that day, I was fighting with my brain about the flowers being watered before leaving for the hospital. Pain does really weird things to your psychy, and my default impulse at the time was to water my flowers lol.

I agree with both of you fellas… yard work lawn flowers is totally relaxing to me. Looks nice too. Best lawn in the hood! Hahaha funny.

Quick story. I built my second house on a couple of acres in a high end hood. Old man built one next to me on 5 acres. The neighborhood had yard of the month in the warm 6 months of the year. Me and him would get it on and off more than all others combined. That old fella (died some tome ago) taught me all about lawns shrubs flowers etc.

Then you might know what this is. I’ve been trying to get this thing running again. I bought it off a retired turf manager for $150. So far I replaced all the bearings, gaskets, remachined the blades. Now I just have to figure out the carb. The engine dies after about 20 minutes of running.

Not super high priority for me right now, as I’m still working on leveling some areas, and a regular mower is just a better fit right now.

That’s a high end mower brother. I’ve only seen those on golf courses. Briggs motor. Probably easy to find carb rebuild kit or a whole new setup.

150 bucks is a steal!!!

Yeah, I have rebuilt the thing, I might have messed something up with the carb though lol. I have put about $300 in parts, so overall still a very cheap deal. I was asking the guy why he was getting rid of it for so cheap, cause that’s practically worth it’s weight in metal. And he just wanted to give it off to someone, he felt would take care of it, cause it was his fathers. I chat with the guy often, and share lawn pics all the time. The serial number is 1905 if that gives you any idea of how old the thing is.

Yeah, this neighborhood has been around for about 10 years, but the builders are a small family run business, so they only work on so many lots per year. And the last of the lots just got bought up. Mine was built last year, had an agreement signed before lockdown. It worked out for both of us cause it kept steady work for the builders through lockdown, while also getting a decent price on the lot/house.

They are mowers that typically run between $800 used, up to $2400 brand new. Cause they cut super short and consistent. Usually only found on golf courses.

Edit: to be less vague, They are motorized reel mowers. This one is a Trimmer brand.

Great thread, @Tack ! One of my three sons–a four-year starter at center for his college football team and team captain–came out as gay a couple of years ago, and he faces similar issues. He is wickedly smart, not ideological about anything, purely rational and compassionate. Like you, he refuses to conform to a particular ideology based solely on his sexual preference. He is one of my heroes because he has the absolute courage to be exactly who he is. I congratulate you on the same.
