That’s a pretty big deficit you’re planning. If your bar is 3000 maintenance. Up to you of course but you’ll lose some muscle in a 1200 calorie deficit. I would start with changing your macros and dropping 500 but that’s just me.
That’s what I would do. You really have to track macros and calories in my experience. It’s a pain in the ass but it works. That way you’re not halfway through your cut wondering why it’s not working.
I would look into and research anavar and methenolone enanthate. They both will help with cutting heavy but maintaining and even growing muscle. There meant to treat. Muscle wasting diseases and can really help when cutting to still gain muscle and strength. Also testosterone can help but it should be your base and then anything else would help more fight against muscle wasting through weight loss
