I’ve cut back to three days of heavy lifting as I near meet and my bench is starting to go up again. It maybe I do better with less volume or with physical job I need more recovery
Also fat cells convert estrogen easier then muscle, so the more fat and obese you are in general the higher your estrogen. I noticed when I was very lean around 8-10% 2.5 years ago i didn’t need an ai at all. Now im like 15% body fat. And I need one if taking 500+mg test
The unfortunate reality is cardio is so important as we age to maintain a properly functioning metabolic system. Problem is most of us hate doing it lol
