I’m more of a reader than a poster, but I want to say thanks to all that do post. Some back ground on me… I’ve done a few cycles in the past. I power lifted till my mid 30s then life got in the way. I’ve been feeling like shit so I started back lifting. I never go to a Dr., so picked one at random for a full physical and blood work. Blood work came back low T, but everything else fine. I’m thinking hell yeah, this is awesome. So he prescribes me 200mg cyp every 28 days, wtf . So I start explaining to a MD about hormones and hormone levels, lol. He then says ok, 200mg every 14 days. Well, that won’t work. I stumbled on this forum and have read about others experiences and realize I need an actual TRT clinic. So, again, thanks.

Thanks for the intro bud. Most general practitioners are weary about doing TRT for their patients and even if they do, they are likely highly uneducated in the field of hormones. Not to mention if they are a private practice, prescribing a schedule 3 steroidal hormone tends to raise some red flags with their insurance so the majority will never prescribe it how it should actually be used. The hormone replacement clinics can be expensive but they are bioidentical hormone doctors that actually know their shit. My general practitioner wanted to do the same thing with me at 200mg every 28 days. Sounds like some sort of text book crap lol. Anyway, he wouldn’t budge. I went to a hormone clinic that wanted to charge me almost $800 just to get started then $200 to $300 a month just to keep up with bloodwork, the prescription and the ancillaries. Like a lot of us, I was basically forced to take action on my own. Being a blue collar guy with a family of 5 I just can’t afford to keep that up for too long and just took matters into my own hands. All that said, you’re not alone or unique in your journey so if you need any help or advice, feel free to ask. I’m sure one of us will have an answer or be able to find the answer.

I’m thinking I may have to as well. My insurance is paying for it now, but I’m not quite sure what this Dr is thinking. He prescribed me enough for weekly shots till my next appointment, which is Nov. I’m doing it weekly but looking to supplement it. I’m calling this week to make an appointment at HRT clinic.

Lmao… it’s not the tiny you are thinking lol. Granted your testicles are going to shrink as they are no longer being used to produce testosterone but they don’t get pea sized either lol. I stopped coming off and doing PCTs almost a year ago and my balls are only about 1/4 smaller than they were a year ago lol. But if you come off of everything for 6 to 8 weeks once or twice a year they will bounce back no problem. I don’t concern myself with with HCG or anything like that anymore. It’s just a waste of money and a waste of my Aromasin to use it. To each their own though. I’ll also throw in that aesthetically, as you get bigger, your balls and dick are going to look smaller anyway. Small price to pay for godly physiques hahaha

That’s why I married a woman with small hands, it always looks big, lol. I have no plans to come off, i would like to increase T for 10 week cycles at some point.
