Im completely new to this lifestyle and would love some input and yalls experiences to guide me in the best direction.
Im 37yom and I weigh 260lbs, my bmi is above 25%. Im currently on a TRT using Test C 250mg a week. I have hashimotos so I take thyroid meds for that and I was told my liver enzymes are elevated due to having a fatty liver. Im wanting to get back into a healthy lifestyle. I would like to know yalls input on things that I can use to help boost my energy and drive to get back into the gym. I have a few guys I work with that tell me to try Tren, Deca, or Win to help me loose weight and give me more energy, but I dont want to kill my liver or waste the money when its not going to benefit me. I greatly appreciate yalls input.

Gym experience?

Recent blood labs?

Any history of peds?

How tall?

welcome.
  • Post your blood work for community feedback, at a minimum it will help You formulate questions for your doctor. Get it done regularly.
  • Everything starts with getting your eating (macros) in line with your goals (losing weight, more energy) by getting into a calorie deficit (via walking, weight lifting, yard work, whatever you like).
  • Talk to your doctor about Telmisartan or another appropriate Angiotensin II receptor blocker.
  • Glutathione injections (research using the magnifying glass in the top right corner).
  • Stay far away from orals AAS.
  • Test only for the foreseeable future.
You are aware of the mountain now but need the tools to find its Summit. These do it for most.
  • just my two cents

Your blood labs aren’t terrible. I’ve had much worse.

You’re a big guy for sure.

Have you ever tracked your macros? Every morsel you stuff in your face. As painful as it was that’s what I had to do to get a handle on my stuff. It’s been several years now and it’s second nature for me now.

Imo. There’s nothing wrong with weight training in a place with mostly machines. Free weights are not essential. Ideally your gym would have both so you can mix it up.

Back to peds…250mg T @week is plenty to rejuvenate even the most crusty amongst us (me). I would recommend breaking that dose up into two pins a week or e3d if you have the time. That will level your hormones out and mitigate the sides.

Im researching macros as we speak. I really do appreciate all the help, I just didnt want to step into something and it be a waste of time and money at this moment.

Welcome, I typically don’t like BMI as a reference because most athletes will be ranked as overweight or obese because they have more muscle mass than the average. However it seems like you know what obstacles you have and diet and exercise will always be more important than supplementation

I would suggest these at a minimum for baseline if you don’t have them:

Total & Free Testosterone (LC/MS-MS) (Equilibrium Ultrafiltration)
Estradiol, Sensitive (LC/MS-MS)
Sex Hormone-Binding Globulin (SHBG)
Progesterone
Prolactin
Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA)
Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)
Luteinizing hormone (LH)
ALT
AST
Albumin
Hematocrit
Full Lipid

Diet and consistency with a workout regimen.
Is going to be key to losing weight.

No amount of gear is gonna make you just lose “fat”.
There is NO magic pill.

Definitely not Tren or deca.

Even the so called cutting supplements will not do what they do unless you are on a strict diet and a consistent workout regimen.

Welcome to the UGMuscle.

Diet. Diet. Diet. Workout. Workout. Workout.

I recommend to you who I use. @PHD is a coach and his girlfriend is an excellent nutritionist. They can set up a routine for you from meal planning to what your supplements are to your gym routine specific to your goals. She makes the sting thing real easy. As @Poppy said counting macros is a tedious endeavor. She is a pro and will tell you exactly what your options for your meals are by weight or cup. And if you don’t have much experience in the gym they will set up your routine and send you videos of how to use proper form and all. Takes out that big ass learning curve.

Based on labs I’d say focus on getting as healthy as you can first. Please please please ignore your friends throwing out random compounds to try.

These compounds and this enhanced lifestyle isn’t to be taken lightly.

If you focus on health and longevity first, and add in compounds later they can be leveraged to greatly enhance your life, but if used inappropriately they can do an insurmountable amount of damage.

Most of us speaking to you now come from a place of making some dumb mistakes early on, and it’s a common goal here to prevent others from making those same mistakes.

If you have questions, ask. I cannot stress enough how important it is for you to learn all you can about your trt, your body, your mental state, and these compounds.

Welcome to UGM!
You don’t need more AAS. Your TRT is plenty.
Shoot for 2-3 small meals low in fat and low in carbs, higher in protein: either egg whites, skinless chicken breast, or extra lean ground turkey breast, broiled/grilled/cooked in an air fryer/ or even nuked, with a cup or two of steamed rice(rice cooker).
And 2-3 protein shakes. Alternate protein shakes and meals.
400 calorie meals or shakes, 5 to 6 times a day, consistently every day. You’ll progressively get leaner and leaner.
Lift weights at least 3 days a week and do cardio at least 3 days a week. 👍

I really cant express how much I appreciate yalls knowledge. I know that Im not that out of shape I do try to stay active weather it be kayak fishing or doing yard work with my wife. The BMI I have dealt with it while in the military and I had to get taped every time because Im naturally a big guy. My job requires a lot of heavy lifting, I just have that extra fluff I would love to get rid of. I also want to get healthy medical wise. I was told I have a fatty liver so I want that taken care of. I have been researching the glutathione the later few hours and I love what Im reading. I think right now I will stick to my TRT and read more into glutathione and possibly throw that into my regimen. @Rusty I will for sure get in contact with @PHD to see if they can help me out. Yall have gone above and beyond what I expected when I made this post. I will for sure post any questions I have before I try anything new.

Excellent. Glad to have you. Glad to help on your health journey. Don’t hesitate to ask anything.
