Let’s get back to Bodybuilding

Well I slagged this rebound up. Already back to 240 and just not satisfied.

So.

I hired a coach. Went with a guy out of Austin that only takes a handful of clients. Had initial consult today and we seem to be a good match. He’s taken several guys brand new to bodybuilding to nationals which is impressive in my opinion.

He wants to do a little mini cut to get back down to a better starting position with him. Signed for 3 months. Gonna go all in with him and see how we’re progressing at 3 months.

Shits extra serious now. I paid someone a chunk of change. 😂

I’m nervous just bc I’m a control freak but I got my plan today. I paid the man my money so I’m gonna buy in double down and follow the plan and see what happens!

I’ve read more than a bunch of times… hiring a reputable coach is the game changer and ALWAYS recommended.

Dietary:
Strict calorie cycling/carb cycling. High cals on body parts that need to grow/high volume day.

Much higher carbs for post workout meals than I’m used to, thus dropping the carbs through the rest of the day. This made digestion and eating so much easier for me. (200g of carbs post workout, 80 per meal after that on a high day)

Training:
Sunday off
Monday upper
Tuesday quads/calves
Wed hams/glutes
Thurs off
Friday upper
Saturday lower

The legs need to grow grow grow. The split of a focused leg day feels absurdly substantial.

Every set is 1-3 top sets and then a modifier (drop set, back off set, Rest pause) holy hell this has taken training up to 11. I can hardly move at the end of each session.

Check ins today and we are dropping cals along with the EQ. my appetite was borderline unmanageable while on EQ so it had to get pulled.

237 here. Hams/calves/tris/chest are the main focus moving forward.

Never liked not ramping up new routines to allow your body to adjust, but you are not the norm.

Your laser focus can be an asset or a detriment. protect yourself….from yourself.

I pay somebody so I don’t have to think and it makes it more serious so I don’t fuck around as much. I gues I forget to post this the other day
