Nighttime eating a constant struggle

Have you posted an introduction under the introduction category yet?

I can’t seem to find it.

You crave sugar because you’re addicted… suffer with out it for a while and the cravings will go away. It sucks but it’s the only way that works lol

I do not…I’m a sleepwalker eater. I usually don’t remember it til I see the mess the next morning. Not necessarily sugary stuff…just food.

Are you a diabetic? Do you remember getting out of bed? Or are you asleep?

If you’re awake, sorry but only help I have is-
Stop eating sugar in the middle of the night.

If you’re asleep- get the food out of your house.

Or get the shit food out of your house anyway.

Then this will sound like I’m being a dick… but I’m not, it’s what I would say to myself too.

The best way to stop? Just stop. Show some will power and quit.

I keep a can of mixed nuts next to my chair and will get a handful of those every so often in the evening. That seems to subside the midnight cravings.

What triggers my midnight raid is usually not eating enough carbs at supper. I’ll get up with low blood sugar.

If I eat in the middle of the night I count it as a blessing, and I dont even add it to my cals intake for the day,it’s a bonus.

Willpower is overrated. Perhaps you need to break some bad habits? Get the sweets out of the house, fill the cupboard with healthy snacks.

:roll_eyes::roll_eyes:😂😂😂 gettttttt the fuck outta here. You been hanging out with TBU too much.

All kidding aside. Getting the shit food out of the house is the best step.

But being disciplined is a requirement at some point.

Right, but what people call “willpower” is often the result of good habits and well planned nutrition. People with good “willpower” don’t generally have willpower as it’s commonly thought of — they make sure they don’t put themselves in a situation that requires them to use it.

If ya sit in front of a bowl of chips and salsa, sooner or later those chips are gonna win. Better to ask them to take the chips away than rely on “willpower”. So yea I absolutely meant what I said.
