My first week back I forgot to hold back and my body let me know. After work on my rest days I just ate, showered, and crashed. EQ is helping me recover quick.
Doing for 8 on bench what I did 5 on Monday so I will say my body is bouncing back quick. Even have a rep or two in reserve on 325 for 8 with using no spotter
Hit 365 for 5 today on squats. Finally caught up with bench. Didn’t even go that high before the shut down. Ankle is feeling healed as it will be so time to just start moving the heavier weights
375 for sets of five today getting stronger and I love it will have 4 plates on both sides in no time which was goal coming back from injury by end of year
Decided to try a new split that puts most my leg work out on one day. Doing dead’s on back dayTuesday and then squats taco pulls leg press hip thrust and other pump work on saturdays. Hope this goes well. Haven’t ever really done rack pulls but feel I need to really get lower back stronger to lift the weights I want
That’s a great workout. I do legs in one day but morning/evening workouts or I cannot get everything done. Some days when I have an extra day off I do make up work in case I skipped anything.
