Opinions on this guy?

I believe you’re the one who mentioned him a while back and that’s when I started following him. And yeah I’m on trt anyways for the rest of my life. And have stayed pretty consistent the last two years I’ve been lifting. I wake up at 2:50am go to gym then drive an hour to work 10-12 hours then drive that hour home. That’s 16 hour days for me. I don’t ever plan on giving up lifting or this lifestyle :muscle:t3: But I was just intrigued by this guy since you mentioned him. I plan on buying the membership and reading more of his stuff. Wether I do it or not idk really. Only time can tell. You’re knowledge and advice is very much appreciated my friend! :pray:t2:

As long as medical markers are good I see no reason to stop now I won’t blast heavy all the time. But if bloods and heart look good I’ll probably be a guy that runs a bit of something year round for the next few years

Interesting conversation. I wonder how often would you have lab work done while doing this. Full bloods of course. Maybe 8 to 12 weeks initially until you got it dialed in then maybe 20 weeks. How often do you guys who on TRT do do labs?

Minimum on TRT is 6 months once you’re dialed in at a dose that works for your levels. Started at every 3 months, and then depends on what else the anti-aging clinic wants to prescribe. Mine does a plethora of stuff that we all get elsewhere.

I’m not sure I agree. Lots of the client photos he posts are of pretty normal looking guys getting pretty good results on his protocols. The fact of the matter is that most people who are serious about putting on muscle are on something year round for several years. That’s simply what it takes to put on the muscle in a reasonable amount of time for most people.

Also, Victor is one of the few people preaching safer use models. My current blast follows a similar model — less testosterone, more of the “milder” drugs. It was designed with the assistance of Mircea Balaj, a coach in the TeamEvilGSP camp. When these people tell you a strategy, it is with safer use in mind.

@Poppy There is a good reason I was so excited to bring these folks to everyone’s attention. With the focus on harm reduction we have on UGM, it’s great information to bring to the table.

I agree.

My opinion is to be successful in these endeavors; it takes a multi prong approach.

Intelligent thoughtful purposeful use of aas

Same with training

Same with diet

As you stated…I would venture a guess that a lions share of folks in this world do not step on stage or a platform…just want to be the best “them” as they see it.

My opinion cycle lengths are suggestions. Ultimately if you get your bloods and your markers are good you can continue. Now that being said it is important to come off, your body needs that to readjust. When your on gear your like a bored out sportscar. You add adjustments to get more power you add nos and your fucking getting it. At the same time you can’t just keep pushing the car to the limit redlining the shit out of it and not expect it to break. Gear is pushing you and your body to the limit so breaks are necessary but thats up to you and your individual body. I’ve done long 16 18 week cycles and I’ve done some where I’ve had to drop 4 weeks in just because my body said nope not today. Hope this shit made sense currently working and typing.

I definitely owe you a tip of the hat and maybe an apology. You laid down an 18 month first cycle and I about shit a brick. Then I dug into what he was saying and I thought damn. This guy is on to something for sure. You definitely are the reason I’m even aware of VB. thank you for that!

I’m really glad. I haven’t taken the plunge myself, but right now I am actually recommending TeamEvilGSP and not Victor. The reason behind this is because some very smart people have called VB out for selling some woo. I can’t remember the details but a minority of the information he gives out is “sus”. Also he kinda paints himself as an authority — he claims to be the only one with this method and that gives me pause. Arrogance is usually a bad sign — smart people hedge their opinions. (Tangentially, This is one of the reasons I don’t really like Mark Rippetoe)

Broderick and his camp (like VB) promote a very reasonable safe use model that prescribes a certain mg/kg ratio for an athlete. Broderick himself is highly educated on the topic and has a degree in Biology and a minor in chemistry. The man can explain to you backwards and forwards how this stuff works and how most “bros” are doing things totally off kilter. Unlike VB, however, Broderick won’t claim his protocols are special. Just a rational and measured approach to sports TRT without all the bro science. Give them a look! That goes for everyone!
