Wanted to share some great, phenomenal news with my UGM family!
I’ve been in contact with my amazing sponsor here on UGM @Iron_Junkie_Labs over the last couple weeks to let him know this was coming up today and as always he’s been super supportive and encouraging in leading up to what transpired today! He doesn’t just help me reach my goals with his quality, top notch supplements, he is truly a stand-up guy that has my back, gives me great advice and tremendous support and I can’t thank him enough for that.
We’ve been working on getting a national promotion deal for a while now but I just signed all the paperwork and agreements today a few hours ago after flying into Las Vegas this morning and having a very successful meeting. It’s official I now we be promoted to a much larger extent and hopefully I can keep racking up the wins and my exposure will continue to grow.
Myself and my team have secured a 3 fight deal with my first National Promoter and Promotional company. Unlike some promoters especially here in Vegas (I won’t mention any names, as bad as I want to) the company I signed with today are about what’s best for the fighters and their future and they proved that today with the contract and agreement we made. Up until now my coach and manager have been doing all the promotion and negotiating for me on a fight to fight basis, which has been good and they have been getting me decent paydays but nothing compared to this. That being said I am ready for top competition, not that I’ve been fighting bums they just simply aren’t nationally known or nationally ranked. Better and more well known competition means more exposure and much better paydays.
They have also included in the contract that after these 3 fights, if successful in all 3 bouts coming out with a W, or no less than a draw in all of them, we will renegotiate the contract for a one fight deal or an extension to another multi-fight deal (the one fight deal was my teams decision in case a better offer is brought to the table from a different promoter) to put me in line and in the rankings to get a shot at a title!!!
I am so stoked for the opportunity that has been put in front of me and the doors that all of my hard work, blood, sweat and tears are knocking down for me! It’s been a long road to this point and it’s far from over!
My training camps will also be moved. I will have 3 options Dallas, TX., Oxnard, CA., or a small town in Florida right outside of Pensacola. This will be to have access to better training facilities.
No drug testing (Vada or USADA) as of yet but this is something I will have to consider in the coming year or two as the title shot approaches.
